Before meeting Dr Farthing at Wyevale Garden Centre about 18 months ago, during a spinal screening session, I was suffering from acute stiffness in my lower back, in both knees and in my shoulders, which was making my life somewhat uncomfortable. Sleeping was becoming more disturbed and sitting for long periods of time was impossible due to the level of discomfort.

Working with very young children, the constant lifting and bending was contributing to my problem. After my initial consultation, x-rays and Dr Farthing's expert knowledge, he was able to explain my problem, subluxation, in simple terms and helped me finally understand the cause of my health concerns. Now, having attended the Ideal Spine Centre on a regular basis, my quality of life has improved greatly.

I would also like to thank the rest of the team for their help and understanding, as they are always quietly efficient, cheerful and ready to help.

Unlike Gill, I didn't appear to have any symptoms or body signals indicating any problems. I didn't have any pain, and I didn't feel any restriction in movement or suffer from any conditions. After Dr Farthing's examination, x-rays and simply put explanation I realised that I had problems that were silent. Vertebral subluxation had been present for years and I didn't even know about it. I could see how it, if left uncorrected in my lower spine and neck, would likely get worse causing health challenges in the future. As both Jill and I enjoy fairly active lives and enjoy traveling, the prospects did not sound appealing. We would have continued unchecked or 'adjusted' if it had not been for my visit to the Ideal Spine Centre.

After talking to Dr Farthing I am much more aware of what subluxation is, and it's causes and effects. I now have regular spinal adjustments and an exercise regime. My movement has improved even though I hadn't realised it was slowly deteriorating. I have learnt so much about my health which previously I had taken for granted or was totally ignorant about. Thank you.
