For years I have suffered with lower back pain and stiffness, particularly in the mornings, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). I used to do aerobics three times a week and have been in a couple of car accidents, though never receiving any treatment for whiplash, other than the 'usual' pain killers and muscle relaxants. My GP used to say that aches and pains were to be expected as I got older! I began to have images of being in a wheelchair before reaching 60. I knew I needed to do something about this and NOW!

I had often driven past the Ideal Spine Centre and wondered what went on inside. It was when I saw an article in the local paper that I decided to go for an assessment at a reduced fee. I was intrigued and hooked at the same time.

It was great to have a Doctor who actually listened without laughing at me and to have 'Subluxation' explained to me in simple, understandable terms. This all rang a bell with memories of my distant school days and I thought of biology lessons. It all made sense. I have subluxation at phases 1, 2 and 3 in various areas of my spine. My nervous system is being interfered with and incorrect signals are running to and from my brain. So, I have committed myself, and now my youngest daughter, on a path towards 'Wellness' with the Ideal Spine Centre. Just two months on, I have better movement in my neck, I can reverse my car without having to move my whole body to look over my right shoulder, I can lift my legs a little higher and my lower back ache is less frequent. I'm improving!

It's so refreshing to have a team who work together and who are friendly, caring and very efficient. I have made a lot of new friends and the whole place provides a 'feel good factor' , without much effort. I leave the Ideal Spine Centre in the mornings and go to work with a smile on my face. The workshops are brilliant and when you think about it, it is all good and simple common sense.
