My name is Isobelle Roberts, I am 64 years old and I am retired.

My life " Before Christian " was very different. I have had three car accidents in the last 25 years, which left me with severe back and neck problems which I now know to be subluxation. Nobody had ever mentioned subluxation until I met Christian and he told me that is what I had, and I could plainly see that by my x-rays . This explains why I had suffered with so many headaches and back problems over the years. I had consulted my GP, plus specialists and numerous other physiotherapists, chiropractors, an acupuncturist and even a Chinese Doctor who all prescribed painkillers or did some kind of manipulation . None of them took x-rays other than one specialist who was acting on behalf of my Insurance Company in a claim against a 3 rd Party. I am sure that he would not have done so had it not been an insurance claim.

My GP prescribed me with Ibuprofen tablets, which over the course of 15 years left me with a stomach ulcer and I still suffer with the pain. I now do not believe in taking any form of "pain-killers" as they only mask the problem, causing more damage. They do not cure it. Sometimes I think a vet would respect an animal far more than a GP does with their patients.

My life before Dr. Farthing was restricted to a very limited amount of sport, gardening and swimming. Every four weeks, at least, I would have to go and get some kind of treatment to get me back on my feet, as at times I spent up to a week on my back in my special bed. I have not experienced too much pain at all since starting at the Ideal Spine Centre 6 months ago though my corrective exercises (cervical remodelling collar and thoracic wedge) were a little uncomfortable whilst I was getting used to them.

I now have the confidence to indulge in more strenuous activities , knowing that Christian is correcting my subluxations and not just doing a quick fix. I look forward to the not too distant future when I can take up skating again and do some more skiing.

I have found Dr. Farthing's enthusiasm and zest for optimal health through a healthy spine and nervous system, proper diet and exercise to attain a healthy body, to be infectious. He has enthused me sufficiently to change my eating habits and eliminate caffeine from my life, which I thought would be very difficult to do, but it was a bit like giving up the "weed" - easy! I now feel so much more alive and bursting with energy by eating fruit in the mornings instead of in the evening. I do miss my croissant and coffee at breakfast as it is not the same at lunch-time!

I have always lived a healthy lifestyle so he is preaching to the converted!

I was recommended by a good friend to see Dr. Farthing, as I had seen just about everybody this side of the black stump, and thought why not give him a try. My friend had sung his praises and so it had to be worth a go.

For a young man, Dr. Farthing has a lot of knowledge and speaks a lot of common sense , which the average person understands. He does not blind you with "technical jargon". I would recommend Dr. Farthing to anybody who has a health problem, as his expertise in subluxation correction and the body's nervous system is second to none. It is that which I have learnt, that the nervous system is the source for most health problems in the human body.

The efficiency at the Ideal Spine Centre has to be experienced to be believed. It is so well organised that there is no time wasted in getting your adjustment. The Clinical Assistants at the front desk make you feel very welcome and everyone is always ready to help. The adjustment itself is short, sharp and to the point, even though it takes my breath away.

My name is Trevor Roberts, I am 67 years old and a surveyor/building contractor retired for the past 7 years.

I first met Dr. Christian when he was doing a demonstration at the Wyevale Garden Centre several years ago. He demonstrated on my wife Isobelle. We decided at the time that she was satisfied with the treatment that she was then receiving and had been undergoing for the past few years. When she did decide, via a good friend, to seek Christian's advice, to correct her problem and not just treat it, I decided to join her.

I have never had any back problems apart from the odd sciatica, due to too many low slung sports cars over the years. But, after building our house (or finishing it off to be more accurate) and after the builders had put the roof on, my back and hips were giving me severe pain, especially after 18 holes of golf.

Dr. Christian did a thorough examination and x-rays. The x-rays showed that I had subluxation nearing phase 3 decay in my vertebrae; this was confirmed by x-rays taken at the hospital on an unrelated matter.

I have now been getting adjusted by Dr. Christian for the past 5 months and my mobility has increased, my golf has improved and my quality of life has returned to what it was 15 years ago.

I could see from my x-rays that had I carried on the same way without taking care of my spine, I would have had serious problems in the not too distant future.

It is all thanks to Dr. Christian's knowledge and enthusiasm, the staff's dedication and the atmosphere of the Ideal Spine Centre in general that creates a feeling of wellbeing.

Up until retirement I had been dealing with the public for the last 40 years and know what a 'pain in the ass' they can be, especially when they are paying you with their own money. I do not know how Dr. Christian manages to be so cheerful!

It appeared that in the first few weeks, we spent a lot of time at the practice, but it has all been worthwhile. I am now starting to feel so much better, I have lost half a stone in weight and my energy has returned.

Thank you Dr. Christian for improving my wellbeing, my golf, and pointing me in the right direction for a healthy lifestyle in the future.
