"I was unable to walk unaided."

I woke one morning in April this year with a pain down my left leg near my shin. I thought it was just another ache , but as the weeks went by, the pain got worse, so I went to my GP. The Doctor said I'd trapped a nerve and I was to take pain killers and have a holiday in the sun! How would this correct the problem?

The pain then got so bad, I paid privately to see a 'Lower Back Pain Specialist'. He referred me to have an MRI scan, bone scan and x-rays. I was told that I needed surgery and there was a waiting list for 3 months. My husband and I were very disappointed in the care we had received, especially after all the money we had spent and to be left with vague answers which were not actually looking to correct my problem.

By this time I was unable to walk unaided . Due to amount and strength of medication I was taking, I was also drowsy all the time.

It was at this time, a family friend told me about the Ideal Spine Centre and about the condition Vertebral Subluxation, both of which I had never heard of. I asked my daughter to make an appointment for me. I was desperate and in so much pain I remember moving around on all fours in my house.

From the moment I walked in the door at the Ideal Spine Centre I felt at ease - the welcome was warm and friendly. Even though the pain was very bad that day, I was able to have the necessary tests and the x-rays required.

At the Doctor's Report, I was told I had Subluxation. My spine was not healthy at all. I could clearly see the loss of the normal curves of the spine and the extensive damage on the x-ray. As Dr Farthing would put it, and rightly so, "how would a pain killer correct that?" No pain killer, injection or surgical process can correct it. And so, Dr Farthing gave me my recommendations and the rest is history.

After just four adjustments the pain had gone and I was able to walk again. I couldn't believe it. After all those months of suffering, medical tests and hundreds of pounds, and all I needed was an adjustment to take pressure of my nervous system. This may seem like a little thing but has made an amazing difference to my life. This has completely changed my life. In fact,

My husband is now under Dr Farthing's care, in addition to all the people I care about. I continually refer people for a spine and subluxation check-up at the Ideal Spine Centre to prevent them from suffering like I have done. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing my friends and family get healthier as they get their spine's adjusted. Remember, one day I felt fine, the next I felt my life was crumbling. You cannot feel Subluxation as it can occur silently for years. So don't wait to help someone else. It was only through the kindness of a friend that I can now look forward to 2006 and optimal health.
